Free Software and Open Source Software
The mission of the Gambit Project is to provide libraries and software
tools both for teaching game theory, and for doing original research
in game theory and its applications. Therefore, Gambit is open source
free software. This means not only do you have access to the complete
source code to build Gambit, but also are permitted - and encouraged -
to use, modify, and extend the code for your own needs and applications.
